Yes. You don't release the order until they do. 10 seconds of QR is faster than arguing.
Platform-neutral. You submit through their portal, not us.
None. No card at signup, month-to-month, cancel anytime. If we don't help you win a dispute in 30 days, we extend free until we do.
1. You sign up. We create a pickup log (Google Sheet) for your store and email you a printable QR kit — a full-sheet sign and a smaller counter-card version. We recommend the full sheet (ideally laminated, since pickup stations get greasy and wet), taped at your pickup station.
2. At every pickup, the driver scans the QR sign at your pickup station and fills out a short form on their phone — 6 quick fields: order ID, platform, driver's name (first name + last initial, same as the platform shows), number of bags, number of drinks (0 if none), and any substitutions or exceptions (or "none" if all good). The submission appears on your tablet in real time. Your staff verifies the order ID and driver name against the platform portal, then hands over the sealed bag. Takes about 10 seconds.
3. When a dispute hits — driver theft or a bogus "missing items" claim — you email us the order ID. We pull your record, build a dispute PDF, and send it back. You submit it in the platform's merchant portal in two minutes.
No. Clearline Standards is platform-neutral. You submit disputes through each platform's own portal. We never contact platforms on your behalf or use any unofficial API.
Yes. You control the pickup handoff — the scan happens before the order goes out. Drivers are paid per delivery, not per minute, so they want to finish and get to the next ping. 10 seconds of QR is faster than pushing back on an operator. Same reason drivers already show you the order in their app when you ask.
Yes — sealing is part of the standard. A sticker, a staple, a folded-and-taped top, any tamper-evident closure works. Without it, the dispute defense falls apart: an open bag can't be defended against "missing items" or "tampered" claims. If your restaurant doesn't seal today, now is the time to start. No sealing, no service — that's the whole point of a standard.
Cancel anytime from your account. If you're in the Founding 100, your $19/mo price is locked for 12 months — cancel and come back later and you still have your original price.
Your pickup records live in your own Google Sheet and Drive folder. We auto-purge driver-identifying data (name + initial) after 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
No. We reviewed DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, and ezCater ToS. Clearline Standards' manual-handoff model — where you submit through the platform's own dispute flow — doesn't use any prohibited automation or scraping.
